Private Health Professionals are delighted to announce they are now registered with the CQC (Care Quality Commission) and are regarded as a private GP practice.
CQC are the independent regulator of health and social care in England. CQC monitor, inspect and regulate medical services to make sure they meet the fundamental standards of quality and safety.
Being registered with CQC enables PHP to offer a wider range of medical services and to describe themselves as a private GP practice.
The qualification was awarded on the 18th December 2020 and PHP director and Physiotherapist Megan Sturley expressed her excitement on Facebook, commenting;
“Now this week our Christmas wish came true! We achieved registration with the Care Quality Commission in order to provide private GP services, including injection therapies and full health assessments, for our community. This has been our dream since we launched PHP three years ago and is the result of intense preparation and planning this year. We are beyond excited and will post more details soon”
