MSTR Scar Release

Scar Release

Mcloughlin Scar Release, is a gentle technique to help normalise scar tissue.

This permanent manipulation technique not only changes the appearance of scar tissue but can have an effect on structural issues through fascial pull in the body.

Every scar is the result of skin being punctured or lacerated and the connective tissue is destroyed at a cellular level. The Scar treatment can improve feelings of numbness, pain, itching, burning, restricted movement, texture, changes in colour and swelling (lumpy fluid areas).

The treatment aids blood flow, nerve tissue transmission and lymphatic drainage and can improve areas remote to the scar tissue, reduce lumps and release emotions associated with the trauma.

MSTR is used on scars from Caesarean, hysterectomy, spinal surgery, mastectomy, amputation, implants and also laparoscopic and under the skin scars.

This treatment forms part of a Massage treatment or Bowen Therapy.
